CanadianHeadstones.com hit a milestone this weekend when the one millionth headstone photo record was uploaded.
Anyone can upload a headstone photo and it is easy to do. Just upload your photo to the website where you can crop it if necessary. Then, add a transcription.
According to the website, its purpose is “to capture digital images of headstones of our ancestors. As decades pass, it is becoming harder – if not impossible – to read the inscriptions these stones originally contained.”
