The Trent University Archives in Peterborough, Ontario this week announced the launch of a new online museum, entitled Peterborough and the First World War, by its history department and students. The university expects the digital exhibition will be a “tremendous resource for researchers interested in local war history.”
Trent University students enrolled in HIST 3351 (World War One) are building an online museum based on original research, building a bridge between traditional archival sources and online information.
The project is in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion and Trent University, and in association with the Trent University Archives, the Peterborough Museum and Archives, and the Trent Valley Archives.
