Many recorded webinars including one about Canada
While looking at the above upcoming webinars, take some time to scroll down the page to see a list of recorded webinars that includes several about English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Polish, and Scandinavian research as well as a webinar about Using Canadian Census Records. Most webinars include a handout.
the first class is full it says….how do we go about getting the handout for it and can we watch it laer?
That’s too bad it was full. Always a good idea to sign in about 10 minutes early. The handout is available now, along with the ones for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. My experience is that it can take up to a month before the recorded version is posted.
Because of the sound issues they are redoing the webinar again in 2 or 3 weeks on a Monday. They were taking down email addresses to notify those who want to watch from the beginning. You could try contacting them to see if you can get on the list.
I connected but there was no sound…or any side comment place….did I miss something to do …just signed here like it said
Did you eventually get sound?
Sound did come one but because of technical issues they did not record the webinar but will be redoing it in 2 to 3 weeks time on a Monday. Maybe email them or keep checking back.
Thanks for sharing, Kim. The technical problem must have been very frustrating for all concerned.
