Free access to 170 million US will and probate documents

This morning, I was pleased to read Lorine McGinnis Schulze’s post on her Olive Tree Genealogy blog about Ancestry having “just published over 100 million wills written in the United States in the last 300 years for genealogists to search.”

The especially good news is Ancestry is offering free access to this new U.S. Wills and Probates collection today, starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time, until midnight, September 7.

Read the Olive Tree Genealogy blog for more info and a list of records and links.
