On his blog, Canada’s Anglo-Celtic Connections, John D. Reid published an article yesterday about the latest birth, marriage and death records that have been added to the free website, IrishGenealogy.ie.

Note that the new marriage records are for non-Catholic marriages only, as civil registration of Catholic marriages did not begin until 1864.
The Irish Genealogy website, owned by the Government of Ireland, is home to more than 15 million records of births, marriages and deaths of the Irish General Register Office.
When I “clicked” on the “Irish Genealogy.ie” connection a “warning” that it wasn’t “real”, wanted to “steal my information” etc. came up immediately……what’s with that???
It sounds like your computer is as protective as mine is, although I didn’t have a problem with that particular link. To get around it, you could simply Google “Irish genealogy,” and I suspect one of the top sites will be the one you want.
