The Provincial Archives of New Brunswick deserves a gold star from genealogists for uploading vital records on a timely basis, despite the current pandemic.
Yesterday, the archives uploaded to its website 6,168 digitized images of original marriage records from 1969.
In January, the archives uploaded births for 1924, and in March, added deaths for 1969.

The provincial archives will open July 6 for in-person visits by appointment only. They have prepared a list of COVID-19 FAQs.
Seats in the research room are separated by transparent dividers and are two metres apart, so masks are not required while working on your own at your desk.
Some aspects of helping researchers don’t lend themselves to social distancing, such as explaining a finding aid, helping with a microfilm reel, providing direction on a computer screen, or interpreting a document. Staff will be wearing masks and clients are encouraged to do as well during these interactions as it will speed up the work.
