One of my faves, Judy Russell, The Legal Genealogist, provides clarity to what sounds like a complicated issue in copyright law for genealogists in Canada and the US. Judy writes that the “query comes from a Canadian who is struggling to understand what the copyright implications are when an older work is incorporated into a newer work.”
