BIFHSGO virtual workshop on making perfect PowerPoint presentations

The British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa will host a free two-hour workshop, Popping Perfect PowerPoint Presentations, led by Barbara Tose and Duncan Munkhouse, on Saturday, January 30, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Do you have a family story to share, but are hesitant because you aren’t confident using PowerPoint? Or, have you used PowerPoint but interested in making your presentations more engaging?  If so, this free workshop is for you.

Duncan and Barbara will offer instruction on how to create a PowerPoint presentation that will thrill, enthrall, and entertain your audience. They will detail the key elements of a good story, a good presentation and how to use the features of PowerPoint.

The workshop will include: guidelines for what to do (and not do), step-by-step demonstrations, key elements of a good story, and tips to help you present your finished product. Following a break for practice, it will conclude with a question and answer period.

This workshop is primarily for beginner to intermediate-level users.

Register here.

This workshop will be recorded and available to all for two weeks after the presentation. After the two weeks, the presentation will be put into the members only section on the BIFHSGO website
