The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) announced that Simon Jacobs and Pierre Anctil have released their new book, Les Juifs de Québec: Quatre cents ans d’histoire, about the 400-year history of the Jews in Quebec City. Mr. Jacobs has been the president of QAHN since 2013.
Published by Les Presses de l’Université du Québec, the book was launched in April.

QAHN wrote, “Les Juifs de Québec spotlights the long history of the Jewish community of Quebec City. It explores how the city’s Jewish community came to occupy a central place in Canadian Jewish history and how Jewish heritage continues to thrive in Quebec today.”
Les Juifs de Québec: Quatre cents ans d’histoire is written mainly in French, although several chapters are in English.
