The Ontario Genealogical Society nominations committee has issued a call among its membership for the following positions to be filled:
- Vice-President, Finance – to serve for two years, 2015– 2017
- Secretary – to serve for two years, 2015 – 2017
- Directors-at-Large (3) – to serve for two years, 2015– 2017
All OGS board positions are unpaid volunteer positions with expenses being compensated as outlined in society policies.
The society is seeking members who:
- will actively contribute to meetings – share knowledge, provide opinions, offer advice
- have a broad understanding of and commitment to the Mission, Vision and Objectives of The Ontario Genealogical Society
- think and act strategically
- support the direction of The Ontario Genealogical Society
Deadline for submissions is February 27, 2015.
