New Brunswick Archives adds almost 9,500 birth records online for 1919

The Provincial Archives of New Brunswick announced yesterday it has digitized almost 9,500 birth registers for 1919, and they are now available to search by name on the Archives’ website. Now we can see the original record, instead of just a transcription.

The records can be searched here.

New Brunswick birth registers, from 1812 to 1919, are also available on FamilySearch, and they can only be searched by browsing through the county records year by year. At this time, these records are not searchable by name.
