It may be time to add to your reference library. The Ontario Genealogical Society is holding a book sale — up to 75% off. The books on the list below are only $5 each.
According to the OGS website, it may take up to four weeks to receive the books. However, since this is a holiday offer, I suspect shipping may be faster than usual. In fact, my order form indicated Canada Post should deliver by December 11. If planning to order books for Christmas gifts, I suggest contacting them to find out about the delivery time.
The shipping cost to Quebec can be about $11 per book, but the total shipping cost remained the same when I ordered four books. So, if my calculations are correct, to save on shipping, order in bulk. You also have the option to pick up your order at the OGS office and not pay shipping.
The following notice appeared in this week’s OGS e-newsletter.
