According to an item in the Ontario Genealogical Society’s latest eWeekly Update, starting June 1, 2026, an annual Legacy Family Tree Webinars subscription will increase from US$49.95 (about CDN$69) to US$59.95 (about CDN$83).
MyHeritage Omni subscribers won’t be affected by this increase as they receive the webinar membership at no additional cost.
If you look at the scale of what they’ve added since 2013 — the 2,600 additional webinar videos and the more than 11,000 syllabus pages — it is hard to believe they have never increased our membership price.
Effective date
The new price takes effect on June 1, 2026.
Automatic renewals
There’s nothing special you need to do. Any new purchases and automated renewals occurring on or after June 1 will be billed at the new price. Note that if your membership’s next renewal date is scheduled for later in 2026 or even in 2027, the date will stay the same and won’t move earlier.
Extension of the spring sale
To give you one last chance to lock in incredible value, they are extending the 50 percent off sale until May 31 (for new subscriptions). This allows you to grab a subscription or restart an old, inactive subscription at a deep discount before the price changes.
When we consider that their library is 27 times larger than it was at launch, this is truly a good deal.
