The Kelowna and District Genealogical Society and the Okanagan Regional Library will host this month’s free, virtual Family History Forum on researching the F.A.N. Club.
The presentation, Leveraging the F.A.N. Club to Reveal Your Ancestor — A Case Study, delivered by Claire Smith-Burns, will take place on Tuesday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. Pacific time.
Researching the F.A.N. Club can unlock surprising information about your ancestors. This case study will describe how George Ramsay, the 9th Earl of Dalhousie intersected with several of Claire Smith-Burns’ ancestors’ lives and led to some exciting discoveries.
Registration is required through the Okanagan Regional Library’s Events Calendar at https://orl.libcal.com/calendar/kelowna/fhf.
Family History Forums are a partnership presentation series of the Kelowna and District Genealogical Society and the Okanagan Regional Library. The topics vary, but are typically at the beginner level in family history research.
All are welcome to attend.
