MyHeritage’s vice-president of Marketing Aaron Godfrey on Tuesday helped the host of Global TV’s Morning Show, Carolyn MacKenzie, explore a bit of her family history and learn the results of her DNA test. The program is broadcast weekdays from Toronto.

Long-time family historians will find the segment somewhat light on content, but Ms. MacKenzie appears to be truly excited about what she learns. And, if this brief segment encourages more people to explore their family history and test their DNA, that’s a good thing.
