The International Society for British Genealogy and Family History (ISBGFH) will host the free webinar, Canada and the First World War, presented by Glenn Wright, on Saturday, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time.
In the First World War, the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) consisted of more than 650,000 men and women. Individual service records are available and accessible. Tens of thousands of those in uniform were British-born who had emigrated to Canada or the United States before 1914. Might you have an ancestor who served with the Canadians in the Great War?
Registration and the three-page handout are available on ISBGFH’s website.
