Christine Woodcock named OGS president

The Ontario Genealogical Society’s board of directors yesterday announced that Christine Woodcock has been appointed as its president until June 2026.

Most recently, Christine was the co-chair of the Scottish special interest group (SIG), and since that time, the SIG has doubled its membership.

In the past year, Christine has been a member of the society’s education committee to help bring more and varied education to the members.

Many people will know Christine for the many presentations she has delivered over the years, particularly those about Scottish and Canadian genealogy research.
