International Institute of Genealogical Studies’ presentations on YouTube

Do you want to increase your family history research skills? Do you want to do so at your leisure — and for free? Well, there may be some help for you.

About a year ago, the International Institute of Genealogical Studies created a YouTube channel, and now there are more than 25 videos.

Most of the International Institute of Genealogical Studies’ videos on its YouTube channel
range from 30 to 45 minutes in length.

Topics of the YouTube videos include using Griffith’s Valuation in Irish records research, DNA testing, writing and publishing in genealogy, identifying people in old photos, and overcoming your fear of speaking.

The International Institute of Genealogical Studies offers online education with more than 250 courses. These fee-based courses cover specific countries and methodology research, and all count toward certification as chosen by the student.
