RootsTech 2024 schedule available

You can now plan your schedule for RootsTech that takes place February 29 to March 2, 2024 — whether you’re attending in person or online.

There are more than 250 presentations exclusive for in person and more than 200 that can be watched online for free. Syllabus material will also be available to online viewers.

To get ready for the world’s biggest genealogy conference, you can easily set up your own online schedule. All you need to do so is create a free account to register. My FamilySearch account was all I needed.

If interested in seeing what is available by topic or speaker, search the On-Demand Library. Select 2024 in the Year filter to see this year’s presentations. Enter your topic, such as Canada or Ireland, in the search box that appears above the filters.

The Canadian topics available to watch online during the conference are Home Children — The children sent to Canada from the Home for Destitute Children in Liverpool by Ian Mooney, a panel discussion on Library and Archives of Canada and the 1931 Canada Census, Je Me Souviens – Researching in Quebec and Researching in Ontario: Your Trillium Connection! by Judy Nimer Muhn, and Stock Marks Aren’t Just Animal Brands — Use Them to Identify People Also! by Diane L. Richard

Too impatient to wait for this year’s conference to start learning? Then, watch some of the past presentations in the On-Demand Library that go back to 2019.
