The folks who produce the PBS series, Finding Your Roots, are teasing us about who will appear on the 10th season.
Yesterday, they posted on their Facebook page, “Season 10 trailer will premiere soon! While the anticipation builds, here are four more clues revealing even more guests joining us this season!”
This is not the first time during the past week that they’ve provided clues about who the celebrities will be.
Guest #1 : In 1995, this guest released her debut music album, which ultimately became the best-selling debut album for a female artist that year. It sold 33 million copies – and won four Grammy awards.
Guest #2 : This guest had their breakout role on the hit Netflix series, Orange Is the New Black, at 23 years old, and she stars in a major film out later this year.
Guest #3 : In 1979, this guest released their studio album _ _ _ _ _. It sold over one million copies and won two Grammys.
Guest #4: This guest’s title track, off their 2004 debut album, spent seven weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This was the longest-running #1 debut single by a female artist in over 25 years.
Guest #5 : In 2007, this guest was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Van Halen.
Guest #6 : This guest starred on the ABC sitcom Modern Family for eleven seasons.
Guest #7 : This guest won two Golden Globes for their role on the CBS sitcom, One Day at a Time.
Guest #8: This guest graduated with a bachelor’s in Theater in 1990 from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. They later went on to win an Oscar for Best Actor.
Guest #9: This guest became a host of an iconic PBS show in 1983.
Guest #10: This guest’s first film role was in 1989’s Powwow Highway.
Guest #11: This guest won NBC’s competition series, Last Comic Standing. She is the youngest person to win
Guest #12: At 25 years old, this guest started writing for Saturday Night Live.
