Findmypast Friday — New Norfolk records

Thousands of records for the English county of Norfolk were added to Findmypast this week. 

Norfolk Wills & Probate 
Brand new to Findmypast, this collection has more than 257,000 records covering the years 1301 to 1858. The records cover 14 Deaneries, including Norwich and Lynn. You should normally spot an ancestor’s name year, residence and title, which will often include their occupation and birthplace.  

Norfolk Banns and Marriages 
More than 65,000 records have been added to this existing set, covering 1702 to 1923.

Newspapers
Twelve new newspaper titles were added this week, including four newspapers that were published in Africa — a Findmypast first. An additional 74 titles were updated.
