  1. Unfortunately, your survey only allows you to pick one item.

  2. Ken McKinlay says:

Unfortunately the survey uses radio buttons and not checkboxes so it will only allow me to select one reason when I have many listed in the list.

  3. Diana Thomson says:

I am unable to select more than one reason for joining a society. Not sure that you intended this.

  4. Brenda says:

Gail, the survey only allows me to check ONE suggestion of the many listed. Is that the intention? I believe most people would check multiple answers.

  5. Regina Quackenbush says:

Your survey asks for a multiple answer and yet only one was allowed! Who wrote your survey? Was the question incorrectly written or was the limitation to only one answer deliberate?

  6. Susan says:

I’ve completed the survey and was able to select more than one box to check off. It gave me the message that the survey was successfully completed. Please everyone try agin, thank you.

  7. Kay Haden says:

Had no trouble selecting multiple answers. I would have liked a box for comments. I belong to societies such as NGS, FGS, NEHGS, and a few statewide or county societies where my ancestor’s lived and have benefitted greatly by that membership. I have a choice of local societies but, honestly, they provide little other than a social hour for long-time members.

  8. Ida Skarson McCormick says:

    (1) I didn’t check volunteer opportunities on the questionnaire, because I was recruited as a volunteer after joining the Seattle Genealogical Society about 1961. I have contributed countless volunteer hours in many positions, including while working full time and raising a young family (born while an SGS member), and still volunteer once a week on the Archives Committee and lead the Computer Interest Group (again). (2) Off and on I have been a member of the National Genealogical Society when attending a national conference. (3) Answering the questions in the present tense, I have considered joining the Southern California Genealogical Society for its webinars. (4) I have never been much of a joiner of organizations, unlike a deceased friend who belonged to 25 or more genealogical and patriotic organizations and found time to volunteer in all of them!
