To honour the 100th anniversary of the declaration of the First World War, the Royal Canadian Mint is asking Canadian residents to share their WWI story for a chance to receive one of ten 2014 Silver Dollar Proof Sets ($99 value). There is a draw every week until the September 14, 2014 deadline.

Select stories will be shared on mint.ca and in the Royal Canadian Mint’s newsletters in the coming months. There is no minimum or maximum word limit.
The Royal Canadian Mint is looking for stories that tell:
• How has the First World War affected you or your family?
• Did your family take part in the homefront or battlefront?
• How do you remember those who took part in the war?
