In its latest email to subscribers and followers, Newspapers.com said it plans to add new newspapers from the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom to the database this year, but didn’t say when or how many titles. It will also update the user experience with a new search function.
In 2021, 2,000 newspapers were added to the website, including the Canadian newspaper collection that now has 333 titles.
Perhaps not surprising, the most searched words last year on Newspapers.com were “died” and “obituary.”
Newspapers.com is a subscription-based website.
