How time flies.
This is the 20th anniversary of DNA tests being used for exploring one’s ancestry, and Libby Copeland has written an article in Psychology Today about the anniversary and three other milestones in DNA testing.
She writes, “The year 2020 has proven to be a remarkable one for DNA testing, the year when an invention originally envisioned as a niche product for genealogical hobbyists established itself as a true cultural phenomenon, touching our public and private lives in ways we never could have anticipated.”
Ms. Copeland is the author of The Lost Family: How DNA Testing Is Upending Who We Are.
