Webinar — Ontario pre-1869 birth, marriage and death records

Registration for Ontario Ancestors’ free webinar in partnership with the Archives of Ontario is popular.

Archivist Serge Paquet will be speaking about Pre-1869 Birth, Marriage and Death Records on Thursday, October 1, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.

He will explain how births, marriages, and deaths were registered with the government before civil registration was introduced in 1869, and where and how to search for them. This webinar will also help you find other sources for births, marriages, and deaths available at the Archives of Ontario.

Everyone is welcome to register. Since registration is quickly filling up, you should plan to join at least 10 minutes early to make sure a virtual seat is available to you. Attendance is on a first come, first served basis. A recording will likely be available afterward for members.
