Two Ancestry Canada Facebook Live sessions

Ancestry Canada has two Facebook Live events worth noting — one today and another this Monday.

Today in Ask an Expert, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time, Ancestry Canada Advisory Board member Linda Yip will answer questions that people are posting here on Ancestry’s Facebook page, and perhaps some that are posted during the live Q&A. If you have a question, I would post it well before the live session starts.

Then, on Monday, August 31, at 2:00 p.m Eastern time, Megan Butcher, chief of Orientation and Genealogy for Library and Archives Canada will talk about what LAC has to offer, some of her favourite case studies from across the country, and how you can use the LAC archive to compliment your own family history research on Ancestry.

Come with prepared with questions, and Ms. Butcher and her team of genealogists from LAC will try to answer as many as possible. There doesn’t seem to be a need to post questions ahead of time.

Watch both live presentations on Ancestry Canada’s Facebook page.

It’s likely both presentations will be available to watch afterward on Ancestry Canada’s Facebook video page where there are plenty of other videos.
