The Toronto Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS) announced yesterday its Late Summer Lecture Series of four lectures, taking place August 18, 19, 25, and 26 via Zoom. All of the lectures are about Ontario research.

Pick and choose or register for the full series. The series includes access to closed caption recordings — and the first webinar is free.
Each session will begin at 7:30 p.m and will consist of an hour-long presentation and opportunity to ask questions. For those who can’t attend the live session, a closed-captioned recording will be available to registrants until September 15.
While the first webinar on August 18 is free, all subsequent sessions are $8 each for OGS members and $10 for non-members. Or register for the full series for only $20 (OGS members) or $25 (non-members).
The series includes a list of popular speakers.

August 19: Upper Canada Sundries: An Under-used Genealogy Goldmine — Janice Nickerson
