Virtual Genealogical Association announces November conference program

The Virtual Genealogical Association yesterday released the program for its annual conference, taking place November 13 to 15, 2020. Registration will open in mid-June.

More than 20 presentations will be delivered by speakers from the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, and Germany. The Canadians are Kathryn Lake Hogan from Ontario, who will talk about Loyalists, and Wayne Shepheard from Alberta, who will explore some of the history and reasons for the adoption and use of surnames.

The registration fee is US$59 (about CDN$80) for members and US$79 (about CDN$107) for non-members.

The association’s annual membership fee is US$20 (about CDN$27).
