More info on the 1926 Census of the Prairie Provinces

The interest in the soon-to-be released digitized 1926 Census of the Prairie Provinces continues to grow, along with information about it.

Genealogist Dave Obee in British Columbia has provided on his web page, What will you learn from the 1926 census?, background information and the census questions that were asked.

If the exact release date was known about this census of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, genealogists would be able to organize launch parties… although they’d probably prefer to stay home, looking up ancestors.

While on Mr. Obee’s website, CanGenealogy, take a look at the lengthy list of online resources, organized by province, region, and category. It’s a good site to bookmark.
