The Provincial Archives of New Brunswick has added 5,905 digitized images of original marriage records for 1967 to its website.
The index of New Brunswick marriages begins in 1847, and it includes all names, the date of marriage, parish/place and county of marriage, along with the bridegroom and bride’s age, residence, place of birth, marital status, occupation, religion, and parents’ names.
But this is much more than an index.
People curious to see how fortunate genealogists are with New Brunswick ancestors can select Marriages in the search criteria, 1967 to 1967 for the Years, and enter Smith in the Family Name box. An image of the original document appears below the transcribed information.
