Ancestry yesterday announced record sales of AncestryDNA kits during the month of November, including the “Turkey 5” period from the American Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday. Sales were primarily driven by purchases made on Ancestry.com as well as on Amazon where AncestryDNA was the best-selling non-Amazon branded product on Cyber Monday for the second year in row.
Following this record setting period, Ancestry has now sold more than 14 million DNA kits worldwide.
No word on how many kits were sold during November.
Ancestry continues to provide the largest pool of potential matches, and people who have tested with Ancestry can upload their DNA results to MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA, GEDmatch, and Living DNA for free.
Reminder: Today is the last day to upload your DNA results to MyHeritage and still receive the added features for free. All you need to do is upload your zip file of raw data.
