MyHeritage still has not shared the details on what changes it will make, but until Friday you can upload your autosomal DNA raw data files from other sites to MyHeritage for free and receive additional features.
As of December 1, MyHeritage is changing its pricing model for uploads and a charge of some sort will be put in place for the more advanced tools.
My interpretation of the news is that we may be able to continue uploading autosomal DNA results from other sites for free, but we will lose out on the extra features, such as the chromosome browser, which are pretty cool on MyHeritage.
Frankly, if I still had DNA raw data files to upload to MyHeritage, I would upload them now to take advantage of the free features. Since when do genealogists turn down freebies?
