It’s a date! The British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa has confirmed its 23rd annual conference will be held September 29 to October 1, 2017 at Ben Franklin Place in Ottawa.
The conference will focus on two main topics:
• England and Wales family history; and
• Methodology, e.g., evidence analysis, genealogical proof standard, FAN (friends, associates and neighbours) Club principle, and appraising the credibility of documents.
While registration will open at a later date, I encourage you to mark the date in your calendar. This is a good conference.
The call for presentations ends January 31.
