Scottish genealogy blogger Chris Paton advises that the National Archives of Ireland has completed its genealogy site collections, adding six new databases to its website.
He writes, “Last week the National Archives of Ireland added several major new digitised record sets to FindmyPast. The same records have now been added to the archive’s own digital collections site at www.genealogy.nationalarchives.ie – all are completely free to access.”

In searching for my ancestor’s surname of CHARLES I came across 11 instances where the surname was in the forename column and vice versa. I sent a correction for each one but I thought your readers might want to know of this transcription error and put their surname in the forename field if they can’t find what they are looking for.
