Webinar — Learn how to add metadata to your digital photos

If you have digital photos on your computer, you should watch Thomas MacEntee’s webinar that will be presented this evening at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. His free webinar, Metadata for Digital Images, is hosted by the Florida State Genealogical Society. I watched a similar presentation delivered by Mr. MacEntee and learned how easy it is to add lots of information to my digitial photos, such as the names of everyone in the photo and the name of the person who gave the photo to me.

Metadata helps identify aspects of digital files such as scanned photographs including size, date taken, etc. Learn how to add or edit metadata and use it to your advantage in your genealogy research. Once an image is scanned, you can do more than just send the image to friends and family. Learn how to work with the metadata embedded in the file to add captions, information about people in the photo, when the photo was taken and more!

You must pre-register here to watch tonight. Arrive early to grab your virtual seat.
