In the early hours of the morning, the British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa in Ontario opened the online registration for its 22nd annual conference to be held September 9 to 11, 2016 at Ben Franklin Place in Ottawa.
This year’s conference features two themes: Irish family history and DNA technology for genealogists.
As a special bonus, the Embassy of the Republic of Ireland will host a limited number of conference registrants at the Residence of the Ambassador, Thursday evening before the conference begins, for a talk by one of the conference’s featured speakers, Maurice Gleeson.
To learn more about the conference program, registration, and other activities, visit the society’s website here. Opportunities to advertise in the conference program and take part in the marketplace are also available on the website.
