“One of Western Canada’s largest genealogy conferences promises to be bigger, better and more exciting than ever,” says the Kelowna & District Genealogical Society (KDGS) in British Columbia. The KDGS’s bi-annual conference, September 23 – 25, 2016, will feature 33 workshops and 10 speakers from Canada, UK, and US: Lisa Louise Cooke, Audrey Collins, Dave Obee, Mary Kircher Roddy, M. Diane Rogers, Andrea Lister, Raymon Naisbitt, Xenia Stanford, Nicole Watier, and Jamie Brown.
Other activities include a marketplace, KDGS Family and Local History Resource Centre’s open house, meet the speakers reception, and a guided historic walking tour.
