Good news for fans of Diana Galbaldon’s books. The TV series, Outlander, that takes place in the Scottish Highlands, will air on Showcase this summer. The book is filled with Scottish history, time travel, battles, Scottish accents, kilts, and romance. Here is how Showcase describes it: “In Outlander, Jamie Fraser strikes up a passionate affair with Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743.
