Southern California Genealogical Society announces 2016 webinar program

SCGS webinar 2016 seriesThe Southern California Genealogical Society (SCGS) has announced the 2016 schedule for its free Jamboree Extension Series Webinar series.

The first webinar is The ‘Push’ and ‘Pull’ Decision-Making of the 19th Century Emigrant with Jill Morelli on Saturday, January 2, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Learn the Px4 approach to understanding the complexity of the ‘push’ and ‘pull’ theory of emigration. Evaluate the motivations of a 19th c. emigrant using this more complex lens.

The SCGS webinars are open to the public. They are offered the first Saturday (1:00 p.m. Eastern time) and third Wednesday (9:00 p.m. Eastern time) of each month. You must register to watch the live presentations. The webinars are archived for SCGS members.
