Some of the great Canadian genealogists we have lost

Since the results of John D. Reid’s Rockstar Genealogist survey appeared on his blog, Canada’s Anglo-Celtic Connections, in September, there has been a fair amount of discussion about the all too small number of Canadian genealogists recognized.

While we need to further discuss how to develop and promote our own home-grown talent, Brenda Dougall Merriman’s post, Death Becomes Us, reminds us of some of the great Canadian genealogists we have lost this millennium.
