I have yet to figure out why many genealogists are so bloomin’ cheap, but we are. We spend days fretting about whether or not to pay $10 or $15 for a marriage record even though this could be the missing link in our research. In contrast, golfers rarely hesitate to pay for a round of golf or buy a dozen balls.
