An all-day Family History from Scratch workshop will be held in Grimsby, Ontario on Saturday, September 12, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Presented by the the Hamilton and Niagara Peninsula Branches of the Ontario Genealogical Society, the workshop will be about “basics and best practices for beginners and beyond.”

- Overview of Family Search – Terri Wood
- Essentials of Ancestry.ca – Lesley Anderson
- Archives of Ontario – Danielle Manning
- Inspiration from England (live from England) – Kirsty Gray
The workshop also features Ask an Expert coaching sessions and cemetery dousing.
It will be held at Andrew’s Anglican Church, 7 St. Andrew’s Avenue, Grimsby.
