Three centuries of historical maps of Nova Scotia available online

Nova Scotia Archives now offers online access to a variety of maps and survey plans from its historic maps collections. Digital versions of the historical maps and plans are available from the 1700s to the 1900s.

Looking at old maps of where your ancestors lived helps provide historical context and an image or sense of where they lived.

The maps in this online collection can be searched by keyword and century.
